Offshore Africa Port St Johns, promises exhilarating and spectacular encounters with these giant mammals. Between the months of May and October, Humpback whales follow their migration route from the Antarctic up the South African coastline towards Mozambique for breeding purposes.

Approximately 20 000 of these amazing marine mammals travel and pass fairly close to Port St Johns during the winter months, and this area happens to be a meeting point for varies family groups and is one of the know locations where breaching occurs on a regular basis.
Southern Right , Bryde’s Whale and if very lucky Sperm Whale and Blue Whale …the biggest creature on earth can also be encountered if you lucky.

Dolphins are encountered through out the year; though appear in greater numbers during the winter months. Both Bottlenose and Common Dolphin occur on this stretch of coast.
One also has the opportunity of encountering rare species of Marine mammal including: Orca’s (Killer Whales) - Minimum passengers: 4
